Experience: Beginner Friendly!!! Novice (1st time kayaker) to experienced veterans welcomed. Put-in on the Colorado River behind our store and go for 1hour or camp overnight on the many islands downstream. You choose your perfect amount of float time.
What we do: We are a river outfitter located on the beautiful Colorado River ... and less than 5 minutes from downtown Austin, Texas. We are a quarter mile downstream from Lady Bird Lake just off of Cesar Chavez. Show up to our shop, and we can outfit you with a kayak or SUP from our rental department or feel free to bring your own. The river access point is right behind our shop and we offer multiple take out spots via our shuttle service. You don't have to paddle back to where you rented your kayak... just float, bird watch, fish, and bring your family, friends, and dog for a day on the Colorado River.

Rules and requirements to rent from us.
Must wear your pfd (lifevest) at all times. No Exceptions
Must stay off of private property outside of the river channel. There are islands to get on and play and plenty of sand bars too.
Waiver and Rental Agreement must be read and signed before participating by anyone who rents from us.
Any employee of MOC Kayaks has full authority to revoke your rental if the rentee has violated the waiver or rental agreement rules. It's for your own safety.
Valid ID is required for the rental
No children under 7 years old please.
Children under 16 years old must be accompanied by a kayaking adult (18 or older)
- No Alcoholic beverages are allowed during the rental
- No styrofoam coolers or glass containers
